Legal and Commercial Warranties
At Fire Scale Modeler, we ensure that all products sold comply with applicable legal requirements, providing high-quality products and guaranteeing the right to repair, replacement, or refund as stipulated by law.
1. Consumer Rights
- Legal Warranty:
All products sold include a 2-year warranty as stipulated by Decree-Law No. 67/2003 of April 8, amended by Decree-Law No. 84/2021 of October 18. - Warranty Coverage:
The warranty covers manufacturing defects or issues that prevent the normal functioning of the product, provided they are reported during the warranty period. - Right to Repair or Replacement:
Consumers are entitled to free repairs, product replacement, price reductions, or contract termination if the defect cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.
2. Consumer Responsibilities
To benefit from the warranty, the consumer must:
- Keep the Invoice or Proof of Purchase:
This document will be required when filing a claim. - Report the Issue in a Timely Manner:
Any defects or non-conformities must be reported to Fire Scale Modeler as soon as they are detected. - Ensure Proper Use of the Product:
The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper use, normal wear and tear, or modifications made by the consumer.
3. Procedures to Activate the Warranty
- Identify the Problem:
Verify the issue and ensure it falls under the warranty conditions. - Contact Customer Support:
Send an email to geral@firescalemodeler.com with the following information:- Order number.
- Detailed description of the issue.
- Photos or videos, if applicable.
- Analysis and Response:
Our team will assess the situation and respond within a maximum of 5 business days, indicating the next steps (repair, replacement, or refund). - Product Return:

PortugalShipping costs are initially borne by the customer. In the case of a confirmed defect, return shipping costs will be reimbursed.
4. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not apply to:
- Damages caused by misuse, negligence, or accidents.
- Products repaired by unauthorized third parties.
- Normal wear and tear of consumable parts (e.g., airbrush nozzles).
- Modifications or alterations made by the consumer.
5. Dispute Resolution Entities
If you are not satisfied with the proposed resolution, you may contact regulatory or alternative dispute resolution entities (ADR).
